25cl bottle @ the 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 14, thanks to Skids. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a herbal aroma. Has a strange herbal skunkiness to this and bizarre hoppiness. Very light tasting but its herbal character is too off-putting.

310ml bottle at the August meeting of the Shrewsbury bottle share group: one of three beers we had from this brewery, cheers Gareth for bring them back from the World Cup. Light amber body with a thin white covering. Semi-sweet for an APA in my opinion, not that I have had many. Decent enough blend but didn’t have a hop bite or strong flavour in any way. Nothing wrong with it, safe and undemanding in it’s make up.

Bottle from off licence, Copacabana, Rio. Clear dark gold pour with a smallish white head. Aroma and flavour was grassy hop, caramel malts and a little citrus Lingering bitter finish. Quite light and very drinkable. Enjoyed it. Head and shoulders above most of the beer you come across in Brazil.

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours gold with a frothy white head. Very decent APA. Toasted pale malts in the nose, bread, faint pine, dry dough, toasted hay. Light body with average carbonation. Quite drinkable. Props to the brewery for pouring until the very end of the session (some brewers packed it in a little early)!
