Bottle from Føtex @ Home. Pours clear light golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, bread, hay. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malty, bread, hay. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, light bitter finish. 101121

bottle from rema1000 albani managed to make two beers with exactly the same name, Luxus Julebryg. brewed at the schiøtz location. Anyway, this is the blue labelled dark christmas bock whatever that means. The other one has a red label and is called a golden christmas bock. clear golden, nearly amber, smooth offwhite head. aroma is full on malty, not much else than malts, but at least the malt aroma is okay good. Reminds me of guldtuborg. Flavor is quite good, balanced, somewhat complex, slighlty roasted malty notes, like a vienna. however, on the balance it seems to me to taste like supermarket cheap strong beer, there is practically no hoppy balance to the roasted malts, alc. gives it a metallic taste.

The other one has a blue label and is called a dark christmas bock. clear golden, smooth offwhite head. aroma is flat, malty, flowery, slightly boozy. i guess true to style flavor is quite good, balanced, somewhat complex, sweet caramelly and malty notes, well balanced subtle hoppy bitterness, not very herbal, not very roasted.
