About
Beer My Friend was born from the Belgian Beer Box company. By dint of distributing beers by mail, everyone wanted to be able to show our expertise in the matter and start brewing. Very quickly, our master brewer (Pierre-Edouard) joined the team to start the Beer My Friend brewery. Crowfunding was initiated to help finance the brewery (equipment) in 2017.

Pretty clear gold to orange beer, big creamy pillowy yellowish fluffy head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass, lots of debris, chunks and gunk floating around in the glass. Aroma: very oxidized, yeasty, malty touch, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet malty, grains, caramel, bit sugary, sweet, hoppy touch. Aftertaste: more malts, grains, sweet, some banana, little bitter, madeira, meh.

Taste: little sweet, malty, spicy, coriander, some caramel, soft bitterness, dry yeast. Aftertaste: malty, little metallic, bit hoppy, some banana, yeasty, sweet touch, bit sugary finish.
Paired well with a mussel soup!

Bouteille 33cl de Carrefour Market, Bxl. no BB. Bouteille clairement pas remplie à niveau. Orange sur léger voie, col épais et crémeux blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet malté assez biscuité - croûte de pain avec une pointe épicée qui revient sur le devant. Impression de pommes vertes, alcool marqué en rétro. Houblonné noble offrant un léger effet fruité, feuilles d'arbres en automne, végétale et terreux. Le tout est assez classique belge Palais marqué par la levure, alcool passant devant, petite touche épicée rappelant le coriandre et léger effet chimique. Pointe de pomme et phénoles, grinçant au dents. Citronné et feuillu - sec au fini.

Bouteille 33cl de Carrefour Market Bxl, no BB. Chouette format de bouteille. Dorée sur léger voile, col blanc épais. Arôme est houblonné noble, finement herbacé, rappel des champs, léger citronné avec un léger rétro mentholé. Palais est fin malté cara pils, léger pâle, touche houblonné plaisante versant sur les agrumes et léger thé vert, menthe. Légère et bien fleurie sur la fin. Petite sécheresse maltée - le tout ronde au profil levure belge qui donne une fin finement amer presque brett, classique et plaisante.

Brewed at only 300 meters from here, at brewpub Chez Bobonne! Not a bad blonde! Maybe because it lacks the often very dominating sweetness?
