Deep golden with a lasting creamy white cap, lacing ensues.
Nose is mellow citric zest, soft malts, bread dough, light astringent bitterness.
Taste comprises citric tinged straw, breads, melon, pale malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest bitter edge.
Good cask condition but a rather pedestrian affair for something claiming to be in the IPA family.

Handpull cask at the brewpub. Light golden and clear with a full off-white head. Floral metallic aroma with light grain. Sweet taste with prominent malt and a nice hop balance. More bitterness in the medium to long finish. Slight vegetal notes in the aftertaste. Thin body, soft carbonation. Surprised by the very low rates; although this is really just a standard golden, it's drinkable enough.
