Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours very hazy tiny burnt yellow with a big frothy offwhite head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity and tiny funky with crackers, white bread, lemon juice, pink grapefruit juice, grapes, yoghurt, moist wood, minerals, barnyard, lemon zest and very subtle hints of green peas. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly sour, tiny bitter, fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, tiny tart, slightly tannic astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly sour with crackers, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, mango, grapes, yoghurt, moist wood, barnyard, minerals and lemon zest. Nice experimental stuff. Highly enjoyable and one of the better offerings from this brewer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gehenna (Merlot BA) on 15 Oct 2015 at 18:57 - Score: 7. Original review text: Solid hoppy sour with prominent wine ba character.
