16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 8/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing, some clinging bubbles, and a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, strawberry, citrus peel/zest, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of mangoes, Lulo, Soursop, Lime, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, strawberry, citrus peel/zest, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. lingering notes of tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, strawberry, citrus peel/zest, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of mangoes, Lulo, Soursop, Lime, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/grainy, acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited imperial gose. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of mangoes, Lulo, Soursop, Lime, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, not overly lactic/salty. Fantastic balance of big juicy/jammy fruit and lacto complexity; with a nice sized pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example as expected.
