Grata sorpresa sudamericana.

Ok, but I actually prefer the other two colons I had. Pours dark brown with ok head and lacing. Has some sense of caramel, but it’s odd - I’m not sure why they added caramel artificially if what it says is correctly translated above. Some malt. Finishes a little sweet and sour. Watery texture. Bottle.

Really more of a vienna or amber ale. Certainly not an APA. Has slight hops and a little rust in aroma. Some malt as well. Pours clear amber without much head or lacing. Finishes a little astringent. Ok, better than the other Colombian ambers. Bottle.

Really a quite drinkable beer. Nice, crisp golden ale that beats the heat by the Madgalena River here in Mompox. Pours golden clear with ok head and lacing. Taste has some barley grain. Average, even fizzy carbonation. Crisp finish. Bottle I got in Medellin.

A reddish copper ale with a thin creamy off white head. Light caramel and malts in aroma. In mouth, very watery, with watered down malts, some light caramel, very disappointing. On tap at Palos de Moguer on Avenida 82, Bogota, December 2007.

A light amber ale with a thick white head. Aroma is much more malty, with floral hops and cherries. In mouth, a nice little pale ale with nice floral hops, again on the watery side. On tap at Palos de Moguer on Avenida 82, Bogota, December 2007.
