22oz bottle. Part of the WI Barley and Hops Coop beers..but this bomber was already being made up there in Ashland, they are trying to push this beer hard I guess. Starts off awkward for a Blonde, as it is in no way blonde. Amber-copper colored body thinnish and filtered. Thin, soapy white head. A pretty decent earthy, wet hop aroma. Buttery and really not that good of a beer, hollow and cheap, a little off backbone, some mild hop character from the wet hopping helps keep it drinkable. Just screams cheap, old school..despite the 6 dollar a bomber price. Reaffirms my unenthusiastic attitude about South Shore beers, very disappointing. The least impressive of the Barley and Hop Coop beers Ive had.

12oz bottle picked up in Ashland. Orange-tan, a pinch of chill haze. Steady thin, creamy white head, carbonation bubbles rising underneath. Buttery pff aroma. I guess it could be the honey, but if you need to add honey to your Pils, something is wrong. Assumably made by and for the training wheels side of the equation. An OK, tolerable Honey Lager, a terrible Pils anything. Embarrassingly bad....even worse that it costs the better part of ten dollars a six pack.

On draught at the brewery. The best beer I have tried there, today. solid palate and some carbonation. Good malt base and mildly bitter hops. Solid palate.

Draught at the brewpub in Ashland. Well undercarbonated, like all of the beers I tried on tap at the brewpub today. Much more of an American wheat in that it is lacking flavor and aroma common to a German hefeweizen, and it was served with a slice of orange, leaving an overwhelming citrus flavor. I really don’t care for the lightness at all.

On tap at the brewery. Opaque, muddy brown, and nearly still. Mild aroma with some wheat, and very light blueberry. Flavor of an American wheat with a barely perceivable fruit character, and a lightly sour finish. This one did not turn out well, and for a blueberry beer, it is seriously lacking in blueberry.

Draught at the brewpub in Ashland. Light and hazy color of straw. Flavor has very light yeast. Flavor is very light as well, just some grain. This appears to be their light beer, and there is very little there.

On tap at the O’so tap house. Pours a clear smber with a red hue snd a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has noted of grain and bread with a bit of backing grassy hops. Flavor is similar with grain and hay upfront and a bit of crisp grass lying underneath.

On tap at the O’so tap house. Pours a clear golden amber with a tan head that dissipatesx to the edges and laces. Aroma has a strong popcorn note with some sweet grains and light fruit backing. Flavor begins with sweet grain and is joined by sweet light fruit and caramel with a bit of backing popcorn.

Draft at OF. Glowing orange-brown. Steady creamy beige head. Sweet, nutty, a little buttery. Medium bodied, one dimensional. Sweet and malty. Not so impressive, but drinkable.

Bottle thanks to someone at freetail release. Pours a near clear dark brown with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of mint with roasted malts and a bit of sweet bourbon. Flavor has a bit of mint but mainly roaseted malt and a bit of bourbon,
