Tap @ High Desert. Pours a dark reddish brown appearance with a creamy brown head. Roasty malty, cocoa, a bit herbal aroma. A touch fruity, very roasty, slightly smoked, dark chocolate flavor.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a dark reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Cocoa, light coffee, vanilla, roasty aroma. Creamy, dark chocolate, richly roasted malty, somewhat bitter flavor. The highlight of my sampler trays.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a dark orange appearance with a tan head. A bit fruity, light pear, toasty malty, herbal aroma. Fairly sweet, orange fruity, toasty malty, a bit grassy flavor. Ok.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a bit hazy, dark golden appearance with a khaki head. Sweet caramel/toffee, a bit earthy aroma. Slightly soapy, floral bitter hoppy, toasty caramel malty flavor. Ok.

Rye PA from High Desert Brewing Company

Tap @ High Desert. Note: this is different than the IPA and the Rye Beer. Ast the current time, they have only made a couple of batches of it. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a tan head. Orange/grapefruit citrusy, a bit floral, fairly tame aroma. Slightly spicy, soapy/floral/potpourri, orange citrusy flavor. Not bad but one of my least favorites here.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a clear, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Kind of spicy hoppy, cereal, toasty aroma. A bit chewy, toasty caramel, tangy, a touch green hoppy flavor. Not my favorite.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a clear, yellow appearance with a white head. Spicy, fuzzy peach, a bit floral, fruit forward aroma. Slightly bitter, a touch grainy, peachy flavor. Probably would be refreshing on a hot day, but nit really anything special.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a clear yellow appearance with an off white head. Straw, grainy wheat, a bit fruity, slightly herbal aroma. Light lemon fruitiness, fairly dry, a bit grainy flavor. Not very exciting but it’s easy to drink.

Earthy, slightly caramelly aroma. Nutty, toasty and lightly fruity. Ok, not super-clean this one, and underneath the dirt is nothing special I don’t think.

Amber and hazy. Herbal, hoppy, lightly spicy on the nose - some nice dry hops. Lots of rich malt, with a good dose of hop, and slight heat late. Pretty well-balanced.
