Komischer Geruch, Gummi? Herb, deutlicher Malzunterton im Mittelteil, hopfig-frischer Abgang. Im Nachgeschmack noch einmal herb. Simpel aber für Light gut. Test vom 16.10.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,10,9,7,9 - 9,15

It’s actually not a suprise I can’t find this beer in my area. It’s awful. I mean, awful awful. I’d rather drink water, at least the taste is better.

Can. Pale yellow color with a small white head. Adjunct aroma, but nothing too bad. Strange adjunct/malt/watery flavor. No hops, and a fairly clean finish for a macro, but a bit of a mineral tone.

Bottle. Sweet red cherry and malt aroma. Reddish amber with moderate but quickly disappating head. Strong malt flavor. A beer Coors managed not to mess up too much. Seemed to have more flavor in the 80s but I didn’t take notes back then.

Can. Sweet corn, barley malt, and straw aroma. Yellow with moderate head and effervescence. Mildly sweet barley malt and very lightly bitter straw flavor. Decent body. Patrickctenchi’s and my beer of choice for post-festival decompression. Think this was originally Coors attempt to make a cheaper version of Coors Light (a la AB’s Natural Light) - for me, this is my discount beer of choice.

Can. Slightly sweet barley malt aroma. Yellow color. Sweet barley flavor. Essentially a Coors clone - will save you some cash though.

Bottle. Originally called Coors Cutter. Sweet corn and barley aroma. Golden amber color with moderate head. Slightly sweet barley malt flavor with a mild hops finish - ironically enough has a better color and more hops flavor than Coors Light. The original Coors Cutter was much sweeter - like liquified Captain Crunch. When I leave this beer purgatory, I will never touch this again.

Poured a light golden amber with a white bubbly head. Smell was a light grainy aroma. Taste was a watery corny flavor.
