Used to call this Coors Extra Hangover. Price helps the flavor - good for a camping trip or a day at the racetrack - otherwise unremarkable. Slightly more flavor than regular Coors

I grew up in Indiana - we were the last state in the union to be able to get Coors so I fondly remember road trips to Ohio or Kentucky just to buy Coors. It was probably the combination of the anticipation, effort and inexperience that make Coors taste so good back then. Sour corn/barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with big head. Slightly sweet corn/barley malt flavor. Needs to be drank very, very cold. Drink only when watching "Smokey and the Bandit" on late night TV in honor of the great Jackie Gleason.

Pale golden colour with a non-existant white head. Aroma of just about nothing with perhaps some cardboard thrown in. Light-bodied; Watery taste with a bit of a fake-sugar taste and no hops nor malt-how is this a beer? Aftertaste....wait, what aftertaste? Overall, a good beer if you don’t want to drink anything, but you still want to ’feel’ it. This is wierd-its like water but it’s not! I got this twelve ounce bottle from Phil (haddon90) and sampled it on 25-May-2004.

draft-free-light yellow with corny aroma. Slight malt taste with no hops whatsoever. Body of water. Oh, one thing...it was free.

Canned. Hazy orange color, medium off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, english style, bit caramel malts. Very hopbitter taste and palate. Quite nice beer.

Pours a lightish yellow with a good amount of foamy head. Smells thick and sweet with lots of cereal grains and corn. Tastes about on par with the aroma. Has a dry cardboard like taste in the middle and gets slightly watery towards end. Flavor isnt anything special.

This is what i would have during the old college days. For the taste you say? nah..it was $3.50 a 12 pack and it tasted half as good. Bottle beer taste in a can? I don't think so.

Bleh. OK, so a 220th rating calling this bad is really warranted. Its not bitter and thats a selling point! The reason its not bitter is that its a light beer with a malt liquor identity crisis. Pours a pale gold with an initially large foamy that quickly reduces down to nothing, and with no bubbles rising to the top, this just sits dead in the glass like some kind of colored water. It would be easy to attribute that to a dirty glass, but no. Aroma was grainy and alcoholic, much like a malt liquor like I said. Corny (DMS). Flavor is quite sweet for a light beer, again grainy and peppery (I'd say alcoholic but not at 4.2%). I actually did detect the slightest rising of bitterness in the finish, but for your average swiller, the slightest distraction (i.e. food, or maybe even air) would mask it. On a final note, when really cold this beer was at least passable (in that I could get it past my lips) but after the slightest warming it became sickeningly sweet and cloying. I had to dump the last half of the large can - but hey it was only $1.00 and I was sorta thirsty.

You know, I'd rather drink this than some of the beers I've rated better on the site. On the other hand, water has a tough time being offensive.

better than anything coors or any coors like american companies make. Just drink this for the color and because it isnt as bad as the supermarket standards.
