On tap at the Carlsbad brewpub. A crystal clear dark golden beer with an off-white head leaving some curtains. Mostly peachy aroma and flavor, little room for the malty flavors and aromas. Nice bitterness though. Medium body, quite dry, nicely carbonated. Lasting finish. Sure lovely and dangerously drinkable. 130813

Dry, medium bodied mouthfeel with flavors of pale malts and pine cones. Some bitterness and generic fruityness. Not very interesting this one, but quenching. 130813

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, biscuit, grain and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain and floral. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with an average floral finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the San Clemente brewpub. A clear light amber beer with a small off-white head. Weak aroma with some caramel and a generic fruity touch. Dry on the palate, medium body, pleasant carbonation. Weak flavor with a little bitterness. Short finish. A rather boring one, flawless, but uninteresting. 130813

On tap at the brewpub. An amber colored beer with a small off-white head. Caramel and some pine cones and lemon peel in the aroma, the flavor pretty much the same. A good bitterness too in the flavor of course. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Mostly bitter finish. Quite decent this one, but didn’t ring any of my bells. 130813

On tap at CBC Clerkenwell during the Pizza Port Tap Takeover - London. Pours clear, red-gold with a fine, creamy head. Sweet and bready with a good dose of toffee, brown bread, some ripe citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly resinous to finish, with toasty bread, some fruity tones. Good balance, nice toffee notes. I like it.

On tap at CBC Clerkenwell during the Pizza Port Tap Takeover - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy white head. Ripening citrus in the nose, plenty of orange, tangerine, some hints of toasty sugars and bread. Medium to big sweet flavor with moderate bitterness, lightly toasted pine, some dry bread, dry tangerine and orange, along with grapefruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat creamy, too. Good balance to finish, nice piney hops, lightly resinous, with faint wood and earth, also dry tangerine, orange and grapefruit. Very solid IPA.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell - Pizza Port Tap Takeover After Party, 22/04/13. Hazed dark amber wiht a good sized beige head. Nose is Caramac bar, touch of hops, yeast notes, dark fruits. Taste comprises caramel, hops, fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tasty low ABV goodness!
