Presentation is a little darker than a pale ale. Nice lacing. Taste is heavy on yeast and it has a backbone like a hefe. There is certainly banana and bubble gum notes in both the smell and the taste. Again a beer that I thought was not quite in the style its said to be. Spicy hefe stuff seems to permeate all round. Heavy yeast finish on this.

First let me say that I don’t like IPA so a low rating is a good rating for this beer. Smell is citrus mild ipa aroma. Darker than a pale ale, just barely. Yes, terrible bitter impressions. Mouth coating bitter medicine, what else can be said. Terribly on style.

Pale yellow. Neutral aroma. Creamy head. Yes a little bit of bitterness in there but this is not a bad dort, probably it tastes a little different than most dorts I’ve had. However, after you session it for a while, that bitterness builds. Good co2 and a bitter finish that certainly hangs for a while after its gone. Perhaps its more like an amber ale?

Neutral aroma. Clear pale yellah. Initially quite a strong impact for a blond. Then it mellows out a little with just a tad of friendly bite. Yes, that bitter bite hangs out after each swig for quite a while, could be a little more behaved for a blond. Probably more like a milder apa. Seems to be much more than the 16 IBU that’s listed on the menu.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy, bready, yeasty and had a moderate golden fruit presence. The flavor was semi sweet and tangy with bread, must, fairly strong golden fruits and a boozy presence that worked well. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Nice.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy caramel color with a large creamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweetish cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was tangy and bitter with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg and a sugary undertone. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark orange-caramel color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was dryish, floral and herbal hops with a hint of catbox. The flavor was pine, floral hops, catbox and was fairly sweet with vague notes of pepper and yeast. Long pine and catbox finish. Medium body. Meh.

Growler filled on the way home from steelheading. Pours a light copper color with a decent head and tropical fruit aromas with a little bit of a grassy edge to them. Flavor is ok, but not one of my favorites from Timber Creek. It is a bit too sugary and the citra comes through nicely but it needs a little more of s bitter punch in my mind.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark amber color with a small creamy yellow-white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and citric with notes of tropical fruits and orange. The flavor was tart and citric with tropical fruits, orange, a bit of yeast and a medicinal touch underneath. More dry than I expected. Medium length finish. Medium body. Pleasant.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark brown color with red-orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that faded and left good lacing. The aroma was wood, roasty malts and a bit of chocolate and coffee. The flavor was bitter, roasty and woody with a hint of chocolate and moderate coffee. Logn wood and coffee finish. Medium body. Ok.
