Draft. Strong black cherry, bourbon, and chocolate malt aroma. Black with a small head. Sweet black cherry and light chocolate malt flavor. Light bitter herbal/ash finish. Smooth and nice.

Clear brown color with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, sweet caramel and mild floral hops. The finish is sweet with a short grainy malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

12oz bottle. Pretty sure there is an infection setting in. Aroma has a faint acetic twang, a loss of other elements and a light musk. Flavor not as bad. Still lots of caramel coming out but it’s more like sweetness and emptiness after that. Would like to retry a fresh better bottle.

tap at Three Fires Sep 13, 2013 - Pours dark amber with minimal head and a malty aroma with some alcohol and a touch of fruit. The flavor is sweet with caramel and some mild hops bitterness that carries into the finish. It’s medium bodied. Pretty good.

tap - Pours black with a small tan head. It smells of chocolate malt, roasted coffee, and alcohol. The taste is sweet and full of roast chocolate malt. There’s some booze noticeable but it doesn’t detract from the beer. It’s full bodied and when I had it immediately after some Old Rasputin, I found the Cutter’s to be a little more intense. Both are very good, of course. Well done.

tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours hazy copper with a lingering off-white head. It features good, crisp bitterness and a little citrus character. It’s an average IPA, so to me that makes it good.

tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours dark amber-brown with no head. It has a sour aroma with a little caramel. Sweet toasted caramel malt is complemented by obvious but not especially strong sour notes. There’s a decent balance between the two, though there’s something underwhelming about the whole thing.

bottle. Very solid IPA - tons of hops with great balance. Meets my requirements of a good IPA. Very excited to try their Imperial IPA, the Full Court. Of the 2 I’ve tried, impressed with this company

bottle. This is one fantastic Imperial Stout. First I’d heard of this brewery - but they now have my attention. One of the best imperial stouts I’ve had in a while. Serious taste and remarkable palate. Big fan

Draft sample @ Ft. Wayne Oktobeerfest. Light coffee and ginger aroma. Brown with a small tan head. Heavy ginger and roasty malt flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation. Rather bland for a porter, and ginger was overpowering.
