Another bottle shared by Karl. Of the 10 I got, this is the lightest in abv, and dated October 2014. So let's take a chance. Pours a pumpkin beer brown, with a light haze and a thin eggshell head. Mostly pumpkin pie spice in the nose. Perhaps a bit of oxidation. But that's the only thing off with it. Taste is a pretty standard pumpkin pie beer. Cinnamon and allspice, and a vegetal note from canned pumpkin. And some malt remains, perhaps the base was a golden ale? Still holds a nice fizz. And let's admit, it's a chance for me to tick off a brewery that closed years ago. Not disappointing.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark orange with a half finger of off white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie and spices. Taste is lightly sweet, follows aroma with a solid dose of hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Good. I’m really digging the hop forwardness here.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grain with hints of earthiness and grass backing. Flavor has lots of sweet grains and sweet bread with a hint grass underlying.
