On tap at Diebolt, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out coriander, light salt and some faint citrus. Flavour is light and refreshing, with plenty of coriander and salt. Light citrus, finishing wheaty. Nicely done gose.

On tap at Diebolt, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out saison yeast, rustic farmhouse notes and some light fruity esters. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic farmhouse notes, fruity esters and a little biscuity malt. Fairly dry, with a bit of an estery but fairly dry finish. Solidly made.

On tap at Diebolt, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank and piney hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is rather subdued, with herbal and earthy hops, and a dry biscuity malt. A bit obscured, but it's alright. Needs some work.

Can. Pours clear reddish mahogany, medium creamy beige head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, coffee, ashtray. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Pretty decent standard porter.

12 oz. can. Pours pitch black, with a small, fuzzy, beige head that disappears completely. Smells of mild coffee, anise, peat, and black pepper. Sweet and roasted, with a bitterness that isn’t terribly pleasant. Medium body, sticky, and oily. Certainly one of the better porters I’ve had.

On tap at BruFrou Fest. Diebolt Saison voila 6.1% Clear gold, it’s got a musty tart fruity aroma. Light bodied, crisp palate cleansing mouthfeel. The taste is tart peaches and pears, wheat and light spice. Good.

Tap at the brewery - listed at 9% abv - thick black pour - thick, slick texture - has a nice savoriness and surprising dryness for the style and abv - some smoke and espresso - some anise and bittersweet chocolate - moderate heat/warmth - nicely done.

Pint at the brewery - solid interpretation of a porter - medium dry, with a strong roast and moderate tartness to balance out a moderate chocolate sweetness - touches of smoke and espresso, but lingering vanilla bean sweetness, as well - nice.
