Keg at the brewery, 9.20.20. Clear copper large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of toffee, grain, cherry. Taste is caramel, toast, reminds me of Life cereal. Some berry and honey also. Medium bodied, slick, decent balance. Tasty.

tap at the Indy brewpub - Pours black with minimal head. The aroma is of malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with lots of chocolate and a bit of roast character. There's some alcohol noticeable but like the other flavors not as much as I expected. It tastes pretty good, not a bad beer by any means, but I'm honestly puzzled by this one. I expected an imperial stout given the eisbock treatment to be super intense, to really kick me in the teeth with flavors. It doesn't. I don't know if it's me and I'd think differently on a different day, or if this batch is odd, or what. As usual I've tried to rate it for what it is, the old RB approach of forget the style, how much did you like it? If I rated based on my expectations it would be lower.

tap at the Indy brewpub - Pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is mostly chocolate malt with some roastiness. The flavor is sweet with lots of chocolate, some roast malt, and a little soy. Roasty, chocolate notes linger in the finish. This is good but for my favorite style it's underwhelming.

tap at the Indy brewpub - Deep gold pour with minimal head. The mild aroma is of resinous hops. The flavor is of hop led bitterness with citrus and earthy notes. Medium bodied. It's alright, an average IPA at best.

tap at the Indy brewpub - Pale gold pour with a small white head. It smells of malt and lemon. The flavor is mildly tart with lemon and some light, bready malt. Light bodied. It's pretty refreshing.
