Simply put: an old, "broke-down" former fire fighter bringing a new purpose to an old firehouse through great, hand-crafted, session driven beer.

Sample at Grandview Digfest on 06/13/2015: Pours a clear pale gold-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lace. Malty aroma with some grassy hops and fruit in the background. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, citrus, and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom for CCBW at the "Collaboration Beer Growler Tap Takeover" on 05/02/2015. The beer pours a dark amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of coffee, malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of roast coffee, malt and earthy hops. Rye is not really noticeable. The finish is roasty with a mild coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. The beer is a clear copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of tropical fruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roast coffee and a touch of earthy hops. The finish is bittersweet chocolate and coffee. Above average overall.
