Bad news out of Philadelphia this afternoon; Jim’s Steaks burned down. Best cheesesteak in town.

Creamy, juicy, bitter. Lovely concoction from HR. Have to take a drive up there soon.

IPA day at Isaac’s.

16oz can. Thick, opaque tan-yellow body. Pretty awesome beer. Citra and Strata match up pretty well here, each coming through huge. Clean, easy ABV. Enough going on that it in no way drinks light. Really good.

16oz can c/o Pops. Deep hop depth, definitely lead by the citra and mosaic. Bravo isn't a hop I associate with the style at all, it adds some rindy bitterness. The Idaho 7 is a little lost to me in all of this. I would LOVE to see an all Idaho 7 beer from HR, but they seem content to make every IPA Citra dominated. Still really good. Not as oaty or thick as typical. Bravo definitely gives it more balance. Very drinkable for the ABV.
