Description
A Providence, Rhode Island brewery focused on creating hop-forward craft beer and cask-conditioned ales for little Rhody.

At Long Live, we’re all about the beer – and chill taproom vibes. Our space is about community: where you’re bound to run into an old friend, or make new ones.
It’s all about the beer

We brew every drop of beer we serve here. We constantly evolve our menu because we never stop exploring what’s possible – and revisiting favorite profiles from the past. Most of our product is available only in the taproom – so come often to enjoy the latest.

We are hop-focused, but continue to explore the spectrum of styles that we love to drink. We’ve introduced over 40 new beers in 2018, and will be rolling out an expanded facility + barrel aging program in 2019, along with new partnerships and events that celebrate the collaborative nature of Providence.

16 oz can. Aroma is citrus fruits with a mild herb. In the flavor, the herb and or floral characteristics stick out more. Mild bready malt backbone. It has some astringency in the finish. Good but very hard to compete in New England in this style.

Can (8/14/24) from The Liquor Junction, Reading. Opaque, milky light brown-dark yellow with mild sparkle, nice head with fair retention and soapy rings of lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, white grape and hint of herb. Taste is strong nondescript citrus and fruit. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Aroma more distinct than taste. Wonderful palate.

Can (7/3/24) from Liquor Junction, Reading. Cloudy orange juice with tons of sparkle, thick head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple, milder grape and citrus. Taste is strong pineapple over much milder vague fruit/citrus and bread. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish. Aroma had me excited as good strength and nicely balanced--taste/finish don't quite live up. Still good and age doesn't seem to have really caught up to it.

Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a murky dirty gold colored body that supports a thin near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of tangerine, pineapple, a bit of honeydew and a sliver of berry fruitiness. The taste delivers nice tangerine, pineapple and a bit of mango blended with sort of semi tart Skittles like candy fruitiness. This works nicely. The sort of Skittles character is what seems to be bringing blueberry and to raspberry to the party. It achieves a nice balance of tangy hop bitterness and softer sweeter hop flavor notes. Solid.
