Description
A Providence, Rhode Island brewery focused on creating hop-forward craft beer and cask-conditioned ales for little Rhody.

At Long Live, we’re all about the beer – and chill taproom vibes. Our space is about community: where you’re bound to run into an old friend, or make new ones.
It’s all about the beer

We brew every drop of beer we serve here. We constantly evolve our menu because we never stop exploring what’s possible – and revisiting favorite profiles from the past. Most of our product is available only in the taproom – so come often to enjoy the latest.

We are hop-focused, but continue to explore the spectrum of styles that we love to drink. We’ve introduced over 40 new beers in 2018, and will be rolling out an expanded facility + barrel aging program in 2019, along with new partnerships and events that celebrate the collaborative nature of Providence.

Can from explosivedog: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is lemon, flowers, bit of tree. Smooth, light. Low bitterness. Nice fruitiness. Refreshing and super smooth.

Can from explosivedog: pours orange somewhat hazy with white head. Sort of unique citrusy and pineapple aroma... is it the terpenes? Taste is sweet, low bitter. Definitely tastes different from most IIPAs, but not in awe of this.

Can from Explosivedog: thick but not sludge orangish pink. Sweet but not too cloying. Tastes like the fruits that they say they are.

Taster pour on tap at Rhode Island Brew Fest. It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with thin ring of head and light lacing. Aroma is really strong orange, lactose/cream, hint of dank herbal/armpit. Taste is 100% a creamsicle! Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and average-to-lively carbonation. Overall, the dank quality is a little strange in the aroma and it's a bit too carbonated but aroma and taste are really strong and really creamsicle!

Taster pour on tap at Rhode Island Brew Fest. It's an opaque inky black with nice viscosity, no head, light lacing. Aroma is strong, nice peanut butter, roasted malt, light cacao and vanilla. Taste is strong, sweet peanut butter, slightest hint of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is very good. Not getting all of the complexity mentioned in the description but excellent strength.
