Bottle thanks to Homer! Pours inky black without much head. Aroma is definitely strong on the vanilla and cocoa, light on the bourbon. Really freaking sweet, light bitter. Full body. This is the kind of beer that turned heads 7 or 8 years ago, and now is just another diabetes brew. Whatever happened to subtlety (and carbonation?)

Last draft of evening. Thick Cloudy greenish yellow and sudsy white head. Nose is melon and grass. Tastes of honeydew, grassy, pineapple, oats. Smoothbpalate. Pleasant.

Thanks to whomever thoroughly added this. Fairly bright dirty gold. Nos sis clove and banana. Tastes the same some wheat and grass. Not the greatest palate.

Nice offering here for these fellas. Dark brown and small head. Nose is cocoa and chestnut. Tastes nutty, chocolate, coffee grind, toffee. Smoothbpalate. Maybe a touch thin.

Doesn’t taste like a DIPA but maybe since I’ve been doing pool cocktails this afternoon. Cloudy as always. Nose is tropical fruits and some grass. Tastes of mango, melon, grass, florals. Smooth palate.
