Sampler from a can at the 2023 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Clear reddish color with a bright white head. The taste is more sour than it is pale lager. I would call this a hibiscus sour. Not doing anything for me. Not a fan.

16 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a semi-clear gold color with a small white head and poor retention. No lacing. Light malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor with a light pilsner malt bite and a hint of malt liquor in the finish. Medium body. Low carbonation for the style. Slick mouthfeel. Low bitterness. You can't feel the 6.4% ABV, but you can taste it. Okay.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a very dark brown color with a small beige head and poor retention. Zero lacing. Roasted malts and vanilla aroma. Medium roasted dark malts with a little vanilla showing up in the finish. Slightly sweet, but not a dessert beer. Very clean and smooth. Medium-light body. A bit thin for a porter. Low carbonation and low bitterness. Good flavor but needs more body.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a crystal clear dark mahogany color with a large beige head and great retention. Almost no lacing. Very faint caramel aroma. Strong caramel and molasses/brown sugar flavors, but they just don't blend well together for me. Must be the noble hops. Medium body with medium-light carbonation and a slick mouthfeel. Not bitter. The 7.6% ABV is mostly hidden.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a crystal clear amber color with a small off-white head and decent retention. Very little lacing. Light caramel malt aroma. Light caramel malt flavor too with some bitterness in the finish. Tastes like a traditional German Oktoberfest beer. Very crisp and clean. Medium body and medium/fine carbonation. Light bitterness. Really good and very repeatable. Prost!

I don't even like coffee in my stouts! Damn good syrupy sweet booziness, hint of cafecito, medium light bodied deliciousness.

Pretty awesome oaky sweet maple and vanilla medium light mouthfeel smoothness. Love the high abv sweetness. Oaky hints upfront and throughout. Miss yah Luis and Steph!

Nice flavor upfront of chocolate and coconut, cookies. But also some off notes sometimes, copper pennies, bottle caps, something something.

I don't even like coffee stouts but hell is this sweet deliciousness. Like a coffee liqueur maple candy. And real legit maple syrup too. The sticky Canadian stuff.
