08/03 0.5 l bottle. It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Artificial lemon juicy sweetish aroma. Bittersweet flavor, very well balanced fresh (but still bit industrial) lemony carbonated juice with some herbal bitterness. Honey malts may be felt as well. Long sweetish finish. Definitely very good for a radler, refreshing and quite pleasant actually.

07/03 0.5 l bottle. It poured brown body with bigger head that went down soon. Cola aroma, but some boring stale malts are present. Just like that, flavor was cola dominated with malty beer base, some vegetables and coffee. Sweet anyway, with long sweet cola finish. Not too killing Diesel, a decent juice, but nor refreshing nor alcoholic so don’t get the point of them anyway.

06/03 0.5 l bottle. It poured paler golden body with medium sized head. Typical aroma of german pils, cardboard and honey malt. Flavor is completely sweet though, honey, eggy, dusty, somewhat grainy. Weak herbal hops are present, but not enough to balance it. Medium body with long sweet cheap honey malt finish. Blah, although not too bad, this is totally commercial and as such not interesting at all!

Bottle probably from some booze store in Friedrichshain. Poured a pale golden body with a medium white head that went away fast. Sweet lemony candyish nose and more of the same, backed with some honey, in the taste. This is actually tasty for a Radler!

Bottle from somewhere in Berlin, probably the Kaisers near Brauhaus Mitte. Surprisingly common around the town. Poured a yellow-gold body with a small white head. Light malty nose. Very light sweet malty taste, some pollen. Lame.

Bottle. Sweet/sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large head. Lightly sweet barley malt and strong grass hops flavor. Nice body. One of the best Export beers I’ve ever had.
