Description
Eagle Park Brewing was founded by two brothers who live to write music and drink beer. Like their band, the brewing started in the garage, and like their songs, the beer tells a story. It’s a story of dedication and commitment to the craft beer community that comes through in every pour, every toast, and every taste.

The aroma is Circus peanuts in the can and in the glass the same but with a hint of strawberry. Flavors are somewhat similar to Nose, strawberries come out more maybe some peaches in the background. Bittersweet with some decent carbonation but everything doesn't quite mesh. One and done.

Label on this can says Hef, not The Hef. The aRomas are a decent standard hefeweizen with a little bananas and cloves. Flavors are a little on the dry side as opposed to the slightly sweet traditional Bavarian. Also a little bit of lingering bitter I think from the yeast although I find no sediment in this, which, after all, is what the Hefe means in the name of this beer. All in all, a drinkable beer but not one that I would look for again.

16oz can pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is nice light citrus hops and some sweet malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet citrus hops and a nice malt end.

On tap at GTOM. Pours a hazy ruby with small pinkish head. The aroma is wheat, earth, currant, berry. Slick body, jammy, currant, earth, nice tartness, very good.

No lactose? Pretty damn accurate and the mouthfeel isn't slushy but also isn't thin, impressive! Lots of raspberry ice cream on top of a little crust.

Tap at Sir James Pub. Filtered. A rather solid west coast IPA, still perhaps a little doughy...no one can seem to achieve a clean IPA at this point, so this is as close as it gets. Malts really shine, makes me think of a Maibock. A good beer, but a little odd for the style.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale, hazy straw color with a thin white foamy head. Aroma is a mixture of tropical and citrus fruits. Taste is soft and mellow, mild bitterness, barely there flavors. This whole series is a bit on the light side for my tastes.

Version 3. Pint at Drunk Uncle. A pretty enjoyable, more classical IPA. Chinook hits hardest, but some citrus underneath the rough pine tone. Still has a sort of wheat or oat undertone. OK.
