12oz can. Filtered caramel-amber body. Thin, fading head. Perhaps a little aggressive with the amber malt, a rather apple-plum red fruit toned variation of the style. Still true, with some nice lager tone. Amber vanilla, smooth caramel(?)/munich malt underneath. Well made, but maybe not my favorite recipe.

Sampled from the tap at GMTW 2019. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a lot of citrus rind, grass, grains and straw with a touch of resin underlying. Flavor has light citrus, grassy pine that has a slight resinous bite and a bit of light grain underlying.

On tap at Third Space. Filtered amber-copper body. Creamy, off-white head. Restrained aroma, some fruity ale yeast, malt. Sweet, creamy, rich. Not really that much finesse, a little unruly. Big sweet malts, sort of off US Wee Heavy.

Norwegian IPA. I guess that just means Kveik. Hazy, thick, orange body. Nice, steady, creamy, white head. Sort of like a more restrained Belgian IPA. Not really breaking much new ground or nailing it with this one. Soapy, sweet, juicy hops negated by the aggressive yeast esters.

On tap at Third Space. Bright, unfiltered yellow-tan body. Respectable, steady white head. Briht, clean, with some pleasant sour pineapple tones. Zesty, good example of the style. Modern, but also well balanced.
