Darker shade of blond, cloudy, with medium sized head. There is no evidence of fruit; the base Lager is smooth, with some residual sweetness, light cereals flavor, a bit too much yeast flavor, and low bitterness.
Timid, but not bad.

On tap at Dogwood, pours a reddish dark brown with a tiny tan head. Aroma brings out vanilla upfront, with some coconut in back. Flavour is also more vanilla-like than coconut-like, featuring a nice level of sweetness. Very low carbonation, with a rather bitter finish. Not a bad attempt, but it's too sweet for me and thus a bit difficult to drink.

On tap at Dogwood, pours a very cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy grapefruit and citrus hops. Flavour is very bitter, with loads of grapefruit rinds, pithy notes and bitter citrus hops. Could use something to balance the immense bitterness from the hops, but it's still pretty decent.

On tap at Dogwood, pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Nose brings out dry roasted espresso beans and a touch of roast. Flavour follows accordingly, with a great dryness on the palate. No sweetness nor really much bitterness. Smooth and drinkable. Solid.

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a clean dark amber with a tiny white head. Nose is bland, with toasted malt and light cereal sweetness. Flavour is bland and rather tasteless, with toasted malt and a rather off-putting astringency. Nothing much to this. Quite poor.

Draft - Light grains and toffee. Clear copper with a decent white head. Grainy bitterness and toffee. More like a bitter.

Beautiful amber color, bright, hazy, with compact beige head. The aroma carries too much yeast, but the malt flavor is biscuity, with some caramel layer, nice; unfortunately in the final there is a large amount of chicory-like bitterness, that also hides any hop quality, if any, and generates a problematic finish.
Good malt job, but needs some rethinking with the fermentation.

I wanted to revisit this; it's fairly conceived, a biscuity IPA, malty, not very modern, but lean, not cloying; unfortunately there is also some diacetyl.

Hazy light amber color with small compact head. Balanced and delicate IPA, rather on the malty and sweet side, with enough fruity hop quality. And correct bitterness.
Pleasant.

Dark brown color, almost black, with small creamy head. Roasted malts, but quite dusty, with rather dry mouthfeel; correct bitterness.
If I didn’t know, I would have guesses Brown Ale. And Brown Ale is not exciting.

Dark brown color, almost black, with creamy head. Strong aroma of dark caramel. Caramel flavor, light residual sweetness. A bit buttery, mildly hopped. Dry finish.
Nice, a bit simplistic.
