Black color with tan compact head. Nice dark chocolate aroma, almost like a Lindt bar. Quite smooth, with plenty of dark chocolate, it’s on the dry side.
Very good. I’d like to see a sweeter Imperial version of this.

Cloudy golden color, small head. Nice aroma of biscuity malts, hops, and light coffee. Good body strength, it has a moderate residual sweetness, strong quality hopping, resiny, a bit orangey, and medium coffee. Strong bitterness.
I don’t share the enthusiasm for coffee IPAs, but this is a very good beer.

On tap at Raven's, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma brings out lots of chocolate upfront, with a touch of roast. Flavour is extremely chocolatey, with loads of dark chocolate dominating. Just a touch of bitterness. This is a like a dark chocolate beer melted into beer form. Very nice.

On tap at B's Craft Beer Lounge, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of diacetyl, with only subtle hints of hops and no coffee. Flavour is a messy mix of diacetyl, fruity hops and light coffee. Totally lacking cohesion and barely drinkable, with a yeasty finish. Quite bad.

Bottle - Nice dark roast coffee beans. Clear gold with a decent white head. Roast coffee notes and a bit of pale malts in the finish. Bitterness is appropriate. Solid.

Draft @ Red Racer. Dark amber, thin head. Aroma has a touch of diacetyl and so does the palate. Some earthy hop, light bitterness and a caramely slightly chewy malt profile but yeah, diacetyl.

On tap at Ravens, pours black with a minimal tan head. Aroma brings out lots of tart cherries, with a slight hint of cocoa. Flavour is unusual, with very tart cherries upfront, some vinegar and a little acidity. Acetic acid lingers a bit, along with a slight earthiness. Not overly complex, but it's pretty decent.

Draft - Tart, dark malt vinegar and a touch of nail polish. Deep dark brown with a small light brown head. Tons of nail polish, balsamic and long finish. Not that great.

Draft - Sweet toffee. Clear copper with a rich off white head. Very sweet, leafy hops, perfumy and a sweet finish. Odd.
