Bottle at Weathered 2022, pours a hazy dark pinkish amber, small white head. Aroma is full of cherry pie, light tartness, and a touch of oak. Flavour is moderately acidic, with lots of cherries — a little cinnamon, cherry pith, and jamminess — with subtle oakiness. Lots of cherry pie but not particularly complex. Good.

A pour at I hope not a super spreader event Weathered. Appearance: hazy rose with a rose head. Aroma: berries, a bit of funk, juicy. Taste: along the same lines with some weird buckwheat notes in aftertaste. Overall: ok.

Dark brown. Looks a bit oily and slick. Pretty big coconut on the nose. Sweet and full of coconut/chocolate goodness. The coconut really pushes back again the heavy bourbon, making for a more coherent beer. I mean, you do have to love coconut, but I’m happy.

On tap at the brewery. Dark brown, thin head. Sticky, bourbony, with a fairly prominent berry note. A bit rough on the barrel, the jam integrates well, the pb I don’t really notice but I’m okay with that.

On the menu as Funkhunters, receipt said Funk Juice, pretty sure this is it. Opaque and peachy colour, thin head. Lots of apricot, some rasp, fairly full body. Not bad, good balance. Apricot/raspberry.

Opaque and quite pale. Thick head. Quite fruity on the nose, lots of kveiky esters. Kind of sweet up front, but thin and husky. The hops start to get lost and there’s still lots of esters.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with ground cherries, lactic acid, tequila, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light coconut, light tequila, Epsom salts, very nice. Can.

On tap at The Magnet, pours an opaque dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is pretty nasty, with fermented boiled vegetables, some wild yeast, and vegetal hops — ugh. Flavour is very messed up, with lots of vegetal hops, fermented cabbage, and earthy bitterness. This is pretty vile. What the hell happened with this keg?

Poured from 473mL can. Clear-ish gold with white head. Brett and rustic saison yeast with hint of white wine, but overall a bit muted (could be the age - probably should have opened this a few months earlier). Flavour complexity is still there though, decent, just a bit subdued overall.

Poured from 473mL can. Near black with small beige head (couple little clumps in the bottom). Mild churro notes on the aroma. Taste is cinnamon upfront with bourbon notes, touch of vanilla and burnt sugar. Decent flavours, but lacking in depth, especially the finish.
