About
At Luppolo our beer is equally as important as the atmosphere we create in our lounge. Enjoy our selection of craft beers and delicious food in a warm and welcoming environment, your home away from home located in the “Yeast Van” Brewery District in Vancouver, BC.

Luppolo (pronounced loop-o-lo) means hops in Italian. We chose an Italian name due to the Italian heritage of two of our owners and because the values associated with Italian culture–quality, craftsmanship, community and family–are central to our vision.

Draft - Tropical and citrus notes. Pale clearish gold with a decent white head. Mandarin and some nice bitterness to cut the fruity sweetness. Solid fruity double IPA.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and soft biscuity malt to back. Flavour brings out resinous and piney hops in a fairly subdued way, with a woody characteristic and dry biscuity malt base. Nicely structured and well-balanced. Solid pale.

Growler, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops upfront, following by toasted biscuity malt. Flavour brings out lots of piney hops upfront, with dry biscuity malt balance. Not a huge amount of depth or elegance, but it's well constructed. Nice stuff.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy light amber color. Light fruit touch in the aroma. The mouthfeel is very dry, even a bit astringent, the malt doesn’t offer enough quality, there is actually a very light sour note from the malt, I think; the hops are moderately resiny, with tiny traces of citrus peel.
Honest beer, not bad, easily drinkable, but unexciting.

Black color with almost no head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, milk. Lean body, the mouthfeel is off-dry, nice dark malt flavor, it has light fruity esters that five a fresh feeling; sone toasted nuts in the final.
Very good.
