Draught at the brewery
Hazy amber colour with creamy head. Mild malt base with biscuity accent; the alcohol is too evident, with some chemicals too, some bitter orange peel, fuel, and possibly traces of butter. A bit earthy too.
Not horrible, but not very pleasant. Still a lot to learn about high gravity beers.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 3

Draught at the brewery
Hazy light amber colour. Mild caramel, mild biscuity malts, very strong butter.
Undrinkable beer. If you end up with a beer this loaded with diacetyl, don't sell it please.

Draught at the brewery
Murky orange-blond colour. Full bodied, also yeasty and dirty, chewy, with bitter orange peel, pithy, chicory, veggies.
Messy, unpleasant.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy golden colour. Good body strength, it has some light residual sweetness, a herbal character, between mint, heather and sweet liquorice; robust bitterness.
Not very pleasant given that herbal character.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy golden colour. Strong aroma, strong notes of incense and weed. Low carbonation, oily mouthfeel, again strong incense notes and some grapefruit peel.
Very weird, I wouldn't drink it again, but it's not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Blond colour, just hazy. Good body, but Fairly dry mouthfeel, with robust bitterness; the malt is a bit bready, the hop a bit herbaceous; not as creamy as the name would suggest. Clean.
Uneventful.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Draught at the brewery
Amber colour, clean, with creamy head. Sticky malt and caramel base, some candy fruit feeling, orange peel. Not a bad beer, but you would expect a different IIPA in 2018.
Drinkable, but anachronistic.

Amber, with just a bit of chill haze. Odd aroma. Odd taste. The previous rater talks about ginger, but the ingredients on the can say nothing about that. So what I get is a vaguely caramel and cracker pale with moderate dryness. On the sweet side for sure. That flavour should be listed on the can so as not to deceive or confuse the drinker - I really don't know what I'm getting when I buy this. The beer overall comes across as being really old school, and not much fun. An odd choice of a beer to launch with.

Draught at Moody Ales, Port Moody
Dark amber colour hazy. The aroma is lightly earthy. Caramel profile with some fruity esters from the yeast, a bit earthy too.
Ok beer, but these Ambers have been around for decades and can be found everywhere, also from macro breweries.

Can - Bready ginger notes. Clear copper with a rich off white head. Light ginger and a touch of sweet bready notes. Not bad for a sort of ginger beer.
