Slight haze, medium head. Mild tartness, light body, slight saline. Ok gose, I’d argue the tart and salt both need to be punched up a touch.

Had this at Side Quest (same place, new ownership). It's a Northpaw beer, however. And honestly, their best one.
Bright amber, biscuity aroma with fruity English hops…and what a fuller’s yeast? With bright cascade? Medium body, some creaminess, nice lacing, balanced clean malt, moderate bitterness. Blackberry, good beer. More EPA than anything else but quality session beer.

Had it at Side Quest (same place, new ownership). But this was a Northpaw beer. Dull opaque. Thin head. Big fruity, grapefruit and stone fruit. Malts aren’t great but the hop has promise. Good lacing again.

Dark brown. Not much head. Toasty, chocolatey malt aroma, with light fruitiness. On the palate, it's toasty, decent bitterness, medium body. Could stand to be more complex, but they're aiming for the middle and they hit it. Ends up being one of the better brown ales made in BC, but of course then they went out of business.

Hard to say to some of the last remaining Northpaw beer in existence. Pours a near black colour with a fairly thick head. Aroma has some roasty notes and something else, maybe a fruitiness, that I can't quite put my finger on. On the palate, more straightforward. Moderate bitterness - maybe a bit low - and it's dry, with some mild roasty/chocolatey character. So it's not bad, though I personally prefer a stout to be a little bigger.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Clear gold with small white head. Sweet biscuit and crystal malt with mild pine hops, feet and cardboard on the finish. Nah.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Clear-ish blonde with small white head. Juicy citrus hops, but thin and lacking any complexity. Still the best of the flight, but they don’t even get the “hazy” in hazy IPA correct… wot brewery.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Murky hazy orange gold with small white head. Aroma of citrusy juicy hops with a touch of sweat. Taste is watered down, some juicy citrus with bland biscuit malt. Lazy is right…
