Hard to say to some of the last remaining Northpaw beer in existence. Pours a near black colour with a fairly thick head. Aroma has some roasty notes and something else, maybe a fruitiness, that I can't quite put my finger on. On the palate, more straightforward. Moderate bitterness - maybe a bit low - and it's dry, with some mild roasty/chocolatey character. So it's not bad, though I personally prefer a stout to be a little bigger.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Clear gold with small white head. Sweet biscuit and crystal malt with mild pine hops, feet and cardboard on the finish. Nah.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Clear-ish blonde with small white head. Juicy citrus hops, but thin and lacking any complexity. Still the best of the flight, but they don’t even get the “hazy” in hazy IPA correct… wot brewery.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Dark brown with small beige head. Mild roast, a bit thin and metallic. Meh.

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Murky hazy orange gold with small white head. Aroma of citrusy juicy hops with a touch of sweat. Taste is watered down, some juicy citrus with bland biscuit malt. Lazy is right…

Poured from the tap @ Northpaw. Clear yellow gold with minimal white head. Sweet biscuit malt, no hops, not much of pils, never mind something claiming to be west coast… disappointing

Pale amber, slight haze. Big toasty malt nose. Herbaceous hops, slight lemon accent. You gots to chill with this one.

Hazy and pale. Nice vibrant colour though. Weedy nose, light papaya fruit accents. Not bad. Malts are a bit weak maybe but all told not bas. 4 7 7 4 14

Part of their EPMD series, apparently. Golden amber and bright. Light fruitiness. Lots of orange, light caramel malt. A bit too crystal malt on the palate but it’s still not bad.
