Description
This team of owner-operators was formed shortly after the group realized they all were after the same thing, just in different parts of the province. Brewer John Folinsbee was planning a brewery in Squamish, industry veteran Marc Roberts had his sights on Vancouver while entrepreneur Ben Reeder and builder Adam Steinberg were looking at brewing in the Cowichan Valley on Reeder’s hop farm. After tasting John’s recipes they decided to go all in and combine forces to build the 6000 square foot brewery, tasting room and kitchen in Squamish.

Blonde with a slight chill haze. Medium head. Kind of a catty citra-ish hop nose with a nice clean pale malt note. Fairly bitter, citrusy and catty, again with bready pale malts. A nice un-pilsner.

Can, Legacy. Hazy dullish tan. On the nose, mostly alcohol and overripe fruits. Could be better. On the palate, a bit of malt sweetness up front, then some sort of lupulin powder notes, really generic hops, maybe a bit on the orangey side. Fairly yeasty, and a definite splash of alcohol in the finish. The hops aren't as well-defined as I prefer in this type of beer, and the malt gets kind of muddled by the yeastiness (even for hazy dipa).

Bottle - Light dank with a nice perfumy citrus. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Grassy and bitter with a hit of citrus peel. Nose is great, but it falls down a bit on taste.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as "Bullet DIPA"; 10oz
Murky blond-orange colour. The aroma is very fruity and juicy, mango, pineapple syrup, sweet orange. Man this is sweet, but in this way it's a good showcase for the greatly juicy hops; the bitterness is moderate, but reasonable for the style.
Very sweet, very juicy. I like it.

Tall can from Denman LRS (thanks, Rob O.!). Pours a hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma is flowery hops, a bit malty. Similar taste with noticeable hoppy bitterness and some dusty notes. Not bad, but I liked "This is not a knife" better.

Taster at Alibi Room. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is a bit dirty with veggie and tropical fruit notes, definitely Boombox style one. Similar taste. Very drinkable. Good.

On tap at Backcountry, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, a touch of dankness, and some stone fruit pithiness. Flavour is nicely assertive, with dank piney hops, some light citrus, and biscuity malt. Potent dank piney hops are the deal here. Excellent.

On tap at Backcountry, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderately dank hops, with biscuity malt. Flavour is very juicy, with stone fruits, moderately dank hops, and just enough biscuity malt. Juicy, yet fairly dry, with a nice depth. Very good.

On tap at Backcountry, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp biscuity malt and a nice grassy bite. Flavour is nice and crisp, with a grassy hop bite, a crisp herbal character, and crisp biscuity malt. Dry and punchy. Very good helles.
