Description
This team of owner-operators was formed shortly after the group realized they all were after the same thing, just in different parts of the province. Brewer John Folinsbee was planning a brewery in Squamish, industry veteran Marc Roberts had his sights on Vancouver while entrepreneur Ben Reeder and builder Adam Steinberg were looking at brewing in the Cowichan Valley on Reeder’s hop farm. After tasting John’s recipes they decided to go all in and combine forces to build the 6000 square foot brewery, tasting room and kitchen in Squamish.

Opaque yellow thin head. Tropical nose./palate with light fruity bitterness. Quite acidic/astringent which ruins this for me.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy blonde with small white head. Very similar to Widowmaker, not really necessary to do a fresh hop version. I enjoy Widowmaker though so happy with this. Citrus hops, some hop burn, a touch leafy fresh hop, feint chalk.

Quite pale, thin head, oniony, off-dry, some hop burn, lacks malt. One of their weaker efforts…sulphury and thin. I mean citra and krush it's going to suck, and it does.

Opaque gold, white head. Juicy dank nose. Palate more juicy than dank, hints on scorched malt. Light bitter end. Gassy with good lace

Poured from 473mL can. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Definitely get the watermelon jolly rancher notes on the nose. Taste is almost leaning a tiny bit of diacetyl with the same hop character, clean, but doesn't quite come together, muted finish. Average.

473 ml can. Pours a dull pale gold with moderate bubbly head. Aromas of lemons, spicy pineapple, fruity pine and sharp wheaty malts. Dull flavors of same with more spice and wheat. Expecting more based on the nose.

16oz. Nearby Ryan's house, tailgate tasting with Alex waiting for Pictoman coming back from his political event 😁
Aroma: a bit dank with some sweetness and tropical fruits notes.
Taste: along the same lines.
Overall: good enough.

On tap at Steamworks - Mt Pleasant, pours a cloudy dark amber red with a small white head. Nose is full of watermelon fruit punch, lacto, and artificial sugars. Flavour is artificial, with lots of sugary watermelon and a touch of lacto. This is ridiculously gimmicky, sweet and unsophisticated macro bullshit. Terrible.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy yellow with dissipating white head. Mild hop burn, melon and light tropical hops, decent.
