No aroma to speak of, has a soft clearish yellow body with just a bit of foam. Flavour is very soft grains with sweet hops if you stop and think. Mouthfeel is weak, vague crispness, too watery. Something like this isn't doing much to excite me on their new beers and new location.

Faint grain on the nose, has good foamy foam with a soft light yellow body. Flavour is soft grain and some lingering lemony sweetness. Crisp mouthfeel. A good table beer, mellow, refreshing, well made.

The aroma is muddy hops and rotting pineapple. Has a lightish clear copper body with little foam. Flavour is weak sweet hops, malt only if I really think about it. Mouthfeel is too watery. Too weak and subtle, not sure what they're aiming at.

Light citrus and soft grains. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Bitter and light esters with a nice finish. Solid.

Cloudy blond colour. The malt base has a quite strong accent of wet, stale cereals, while the hop, timid, citrusy, doesn't really help too much; the mouthfeel is dry and weak.
So, it's a very weak base with some flaw and without the hop character that was probably targeted.
Confused.

Pale blond, cloudy. As if everybody in Vancouver HAD to use kveik yeast... Weak, dry, with light spice from the yeast.
Pleasant session beer. But probably not your best business card when you are introducing yourself for the first time as a new brewery.

Cloudy blond colour. Light spice aroma with a mild touch of cow dung. Mild farmhouse character, decent mouthfeel, Some residual sweetness is really what this needs.
Balanced, clean, pleasant.

April 2026 review: On tap at Threefold, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice bright, tangy hop character, gummies, and biscuity malt. Flavour has bright, tangy, white wine character, straw, and biscuity malt. Crisp, tangy, clean finish. Nice stuff. Much better than the original rating. 6.6/10

Aug 2019 review: On tap at 12 Kings, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very mineraly and grainy, with cereal grains characterizing this - no real hops discernible. Flavour is clean, with toasted grains, mineraly notes, and the gentlest bitterness. Even less going on than a typical pale / corn lager. Inoffensive, but a totally pointless beverage. 4.8/10

Middling yellow body and tiny foam, soft lager sweetness on the nose. Flavour is more lager, crisp and semi-sweet with soft corn flour hints. Very nice, very approachable.

Hazy pale blond colour. Not much aroma. Sweetish corn flavour, bit of crisp feeling too, not too bad, mild touch of citrus hop. Low bitterness.
Too timid to become a regular purchase, but not bad. Maybe try a Motueka Pilsner next…
