Appearance - 5 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4
On tap at Taylight - Downtown Vancouver, pours a reddish dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of mint upfront, followed by cocoa, and a touch of earthy cookie. Flavour is earthy and somewhat artificial, with mint upfront, followed by muddy cocoa and earthiness. Muddled and lacking coordination.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 3.5 | Texture - 3 | Overall - 5
On tap at Taylight - Downtown Vancouver, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of nutmeg upfront, with gentler cinnamon. Flavour is unpleasant, with sweet nutmeg and cinnamon, with some cocoa further back. Lots of incoherent adjuncts without good malt structure. Crappy.

On tap at Taylight - Downtown Vancouver, pours s clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very floral, with tons of yuzu, gentle sweetness. Flavour is much the same, with floral yuzu notes dominating, along with gentle sweetness. Not much depth but the fundamentals are decent. Solid for what it is.

On tap at Taylight - Downtown Vancouver, pours a clear golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is on the maltier side, with sweet bready caramel malt and subdued hop resins. Flavour is also maltier but more balanced, with plenty of bitter hop resins, backed by a thick caramel malt base. I prefer less malty IPAs but this is competently done.

Black, dark tan head. Pleasant mint nose. Palate of mint & light chocolate, somewhat sweet

473ml can. Pours a clear amber gold with a small, creamy, short lived, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Spicy aroma of grainy pale malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, oats and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not really getting eggnog, just a spice flavoured beer.

355mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is somewhat grassy, with some herbal notes, a hint of coconut, maybe some lemongrass. Flavour has plenty of lemongrass, light coconut, and light sweetness. Nice combo of lemongrass and coconut. Solid enough really.

473mL can. Pours clear pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is floral; notes of lemon rockets and cleaner. Flavour is similar with some pale, wheaty malts. Refreshing, but simple.

Faint light pale straw body and modest foam. It smells bad, like stale watermelon candy from that one candy shop in the mall that's always empty. Taste is all dryer lint mixed with cotton candy and old rags. This is seriously bad.

Very faint clear peach body and little foam. Floral grain on the nose, kind of cloying and fake. Taste is harsh hops and rice grain, lingering steel wool and it's like I just licked a car hood. Which is something I don't enjoy, tried it once and never again.
