16oz (thx, Alex!) @ home shared with Alex and Andrey. Appearance: slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: very grassy, piney, a bit earthy. Taste: moderately sweet, very fruity with some piney notes. Noticeable bitterness. Overall: pretty good.

Can. Amber colour with just a slight haze. Medium head. So seems like they're going a bit more old school, which seems to be how they roll out in Poco. But the aroma is bright and appetizing, with stone fruits, a touch of tropical stuff, and big citrus notes. On the palate, I really like the balance. Bitter, but with a fair bit of sweet pale malt that also brings some biscuity notes to the fore. Nothing chewy at all. The hop character has a nice pithy grapefruit accent, some papaya, and a touch of herbaceousness. It finishes with an appetizing bitterness, more biscuity malts and a touch of alcohol. If you're going to do an old school DIPA, this is definitely the right direction.

On tap. Pours black with light head. Aromas of smoky roasted malts. Flavors follow same with tobacco and a hint of plum skin.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is quite roasted upfront, with the fruit only faintly discernible in back. Flavour is quite harsh, with intense roasted malt, lots of wood, and a fair bit of hops. Can't say I really get any fruit. Okay beer.

The aroma is indeed very nice maple and cinnamon, has a clear light cedar body and good foam on top. Flavour is bright sweet maple and sharp cinnamon. Mouthfeel is smooth but the beer is a little heavy and sweet. There's very nice flavour here but it's quite rich, I can't see myself drinking much of it.

Soft cherry and big licorice on the nose, has nice beige foam on a dark brownish black body. Flavour is strong licorice, barley, plum, and hints of root beer. Mouthfeel is full and juicy. This is a very nice stout.

The aroma is heavy hops and licorice, has a great tan foam on a clear amber body. Flavour is strong hops, sweet in all the right amounts. Mouthfeel has good bitterness and nice smoothness. This is an excellent red IPA, well brewed and well balanced.
