Growler, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of resinous hops, orange rinds, citrus notes, and chewy caramel malt. Flavour is sweet and chewy, with lots of caramel malt, resinous hops, bitter orange rinds, and citrus. Nearly syrupy sweet but also quite bitter on the finish. Rather harsh, quite jagged and lacking balance. I like some of the individual characteristics, but it's just not integrated well.

On tap. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of bready malts. Flavors are pretty much the same with maybe a hint of citrus. I guess a Saison can be anything but I can’t really get anything from this but a malty tap beer.

Clearish medium gold body and modest foam. Slight floral tea hints on the nose, maybe hops, all rather subtle. Taste is soft tea, slight lager hops, ending smooth. Okay i guess, but nothing really exciting here.

Soft cloudy light gold body and modest foam. Okay sweet hop aroma, a little candied, mostly indistinctive. Taste is chewy malt, mellow hops, ending chunky and dry. No sign of the alcohol anyway, not bad, rather straightforward.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy golden colour. Delicate fruity aroma, tangerine, peach, pineapple. It's fairly dry, but with good body structure; pleasant malt base, almost biscuity, more West Coast than East Coast; the hoppy character is more resinous and herbaceous than fruity and juicy, and the low sweetness doesn't play in favour, hence also here more WC than EC; some pith; also some acidity.
One of the most wrong NEIPAs (aspect, malt, hop), but it's a pleasant, if maybe rough, beer.

Poured from the tap. Buckwheat with a hint of lemon and feint weird funk. Effort marks, but not quality.
