Description
We have been best friends of over 30 years, and Container has been our dream for many years. We have been literally building this thing with our barehands, shedding blood, tears and sweat while sharing laughs on the daily. There's never a dull moment here at Container.
The dream is now a reality that is taking shape. We look forward to sharing the results of our hard work with you!
As outdoor enthusiasts we like to get out and experience the world; this is the thinking behind Container Brewing. We want to give people the ability to enjoy good beer anywhere by providing you with only cans of our best products.
Weβre building a lounge where you can sit and drink your beer, have a bite to eat, while enjoying good conversation. Our unique space will have you thinking about where to sit before you even arrive.
Our Head Brewer, Tim Juul, comes to Vancouver with a different perspective. His brewing techniques, and recipe styles, come from his experience in the New England area. We love what he's done for us so far and we know you will too.

Poured from 473mL waxed can where the tab broke off @ Weathered 2023. Black with small tan head. Bourbon barrel, a slight improvement on original Seawise Giant, but still a little rough around the edges.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Container. Really nice west coast here, and a clear standout on their lineup based on the beers sampled while visiting. Mostly clean golden orange pour. Piney resinous hops with a spicy note on the malt bill. Moderately aggressive body. Overall solid brew.

Draft pour enjoyed at Container, Vancouver. Moderately cloudy amd bright golden pour. Rich citrus nose with some paper grains. Flavor has a stinging front, with some melon and citrus constant. Harsh finish, with mellow booze hop burn and some resin. Far from typical as far as hazies go. Strange I'd say.

Draft pour enjoyed at Container, Vancouver. Dark brown, near black appearance with very little head. Flavor has a nice toasty malt, with hints of dark fruit, jammy berry, and coffee grounds. Sharp linger. Lots of layered flavor with this lager. Unique and ultimately interesting. Enjoyed this.

Draft pour enjoyed at Container, Vancouver. Presented on nitro. Muddy brown appearance. Tan foam. Rich milk chocolate front that ultimately ends on a hot cocoa flavor. Thick body, rich bit smooth finish. Fun and tasty dessert porter.

Draft pour enjoyed at Container, Vancouver. Pale yellow pour. Patchy head and lacing. Floral front, cool constant, some lemon and grassy notes. Plastic nose. A bit waxy, with a lasting floral character. Interesting brew. Not bad.

On nitro tap at Container, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cocoa, lactose, and a touch of coffee. Flavour is awkward, with lactose and cocoa, and a hint of coffee. Clumsy beer without body or depth. Meh.

Draft pour at Container, Vancouver as part of my Oakes why are you so grumpy series. Jet black pour. Espresso tan foam head. Bold chocolate notes, sweet caramel but not overly rich. Soft banana note in the background. Banana bready finish. Toasty, robust, and drinks smoothly. Unique and quite tasty.

On tap at Container, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of chalk, not much else to speak of. Flavour is muddled and chalky, with a very low hop expression β very muddled, chalky and earthy. Totally useless hazy.

On tap at Container, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out soft cocoa, a hint of coffee, and bready malt. Flavour has a nice body for a low ABV lager, with coffee, cocoa and a touch of sugars. Not all that interesting but competently made.
