Description
We have been best friends of over 30 years, and Container has been our dream for many years. We have been literally building this thing with our barehands, shedding blood, tears and sweat while sharing laughs on the daily. There's never a dull moment here at Container.

The dream is now a reality that is taking shape. We look forward to sharing the results of our hard work with you!

As outdoor enthusiasts we like to get out and experience the world; this is the thinking behind Container Brewing. We want to give people the ability to enjoy good beer anywhere by providing you with only cans of our best products.

We’re building a lounge where you can sit and drink your beer, have a bite to eat, while enjoying good conversation. Our unique space will have you thinking about where to sit before you even arrive.

Our Head Brewer, Tim Juul, comes to Vancouver with a different perspective. His brewing techniques, and recipe styles, come from his experience in the New England area. We love what he's done for us so far and we know you will too.

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweaty, herbal hops, and bready malt. Flavour is pretty mellow, with tempered earthy hops, a touch of piney bitterness, and crisp bready malt. Not terribly exciting, but drinkable enough.

Pours with little foam but a nice hazy yellow body, cloudy, milky almost. Nice deep sweet hop aroma with vegetal notes, pine and pineapple, not candyish at all. Flavour is a lot of malt with some resin notes, kind of chalky. Carbonation and oiliness are lacking and the mouthfeel seems to fall real flat on this one. Otherwise there are some very nice elements.

Hazy gold, white head. Fruity piney hop nose, similar subdued palate. Light biscuity malt & stone fruit. Deteriorates quickly as it warms

Vague malt nose. Balanced palate, fruity notes. Drinkable but more of a bitter than an ESB

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour. The yeast has a strong aroma, spicy. Strong flavour too, spicy, with bitter orange peel, a bit astringent and vegetable; some notes from the hops, but muffled.
Not a bad beer, just the concept of Kveik IPA brings together too many things that is almost impossible to harmonize.

Poured from 473mL can (delivered from the brewery). Hazy straw yellow with white head. I swear this tastes like a lager. This is the second can (of a 4-pack) I've tried and they must have mislabelled this... Husky corn malt with mild alcohol and a hint of pine hops. What is this?

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy gold with white head. Mild tropical hops with a touch of dankness. Has a bit of alcohol on the finish, but almost tasteless like soju. Almost has a IPA/soju mix quality to it.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with tan head. Mild toasted malt with a touch of cocoa. Would probably be decent on nitro, but pretty lacklustre as it is...
