Cloudy, not much head. Earthy nose is pith and pine. I didn't like this when it first came out (2.5), but a re-rate has me more impressed. Rich bitterness, the malts are much cleaner than before as is the yeast character. They've put in work on this beer, and it's pretty solid now.

Cloudy and very pale. Not much head. Thin, standard kettle sour, bit yoghurty and not much nuance, as is the kettle sour way. I would use this as a base for a dry hop series. I'm not sure it has a whole lot to offer on its own.

Golden amber with a slight haze. Thin head. Mellow toasty nose. Sweetish palate...to me, this is a well-made mid-90s amber. I'm not sure how many points nailing it is actually worth when the idea is 20 years behind the times.

Dull pallid, with no head. Aroma is pale malts, maybe a touch of grain. Does not look attractive. Clean on the palate. Mostly pale malts, just a touch of malt spiciness and a touch of berryish fruitiness. Ends up being an ok example, maybe 3rd best cream ale in BC, but when you show in the boring beer awards, what's that really worth?
