5oz pour at brewery. Pours black with beige head. Aroma has roasted malt and a hint of pine. Flavour has thin roasted malt and some woody pine. Tastes more like a hopped dark lager than a proper black IPA.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours murky gold with white head. Aroma is bright and piney. Flavour has pine and tangy berries, nice hoppy bite. There's a cleaner-like quality of the berries that I find unpleasant, but otherwise it's a nice, clean hoppy beer.

5oz pour at brewery [as Dry IPA]. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has berries. Flavour has a ton of berries, grapefruit peel, followed by a very long, dry, astringent finish. The whole thing has a very cleaner-like quality to it. Very berry-forward IPA with a lot of harsh bitterness. Feels pretty haphazard and way too harsh.

473 ml can. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of pine resin, doughy malts and a bit of candied citrus. Flavors follow same; hops are dankish. OK but nothing spectacular.

Nov 27, 2025 (6/3/6/3/13=3.1): Poured from the tap @ Mariner. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Mild citrus hops, hint of pine, clean biscuit malt. Could use a little more hop profile.

Aug 23, 2024 (7/4/8/3/15=3.7): Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with small white head. Pine hops, biscuit malt, clean, decent, tastes quite fresh.

[20/10/24] 5oz pour at brewery [as Earl Grey Ale]. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma has a very gentle floral quality. Flavour has berries and floral tea notes. Not great, but not nearly as bad as last time. [27/07/24] Flight at brewery. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is a bit cabbagey. Flavour has a similar damp leafage flavour. No earl grey detectable, tastes like cheap macro brew. 3+3+3+3+6=1.8
