Growler - Fruity bready notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light bready and some nice bitterness. Decent.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour are pretty bland, with toasted biscuity malt, light astringency on the finish. Doesn't strike me as an authentic Vienna. Weak and unexciting. Meh.

Cloudy, light amber. Weedy mosaic sort of nose, and on the palate this is fresh, with that papaya, orange. Juicy, but also fairly dry. Good.

Blonde, thin head. Fresh, fruity hop aroma, on the palate it’s kind of overstewed hop cause I think there’s a touch of diacteyl. I can see other raters liking this but for me it’s a bit off.

Blonde, medium head. Fruity hop, like sonnenklsch, has a fair bit of bitterness, earthy, herbal hops. Malts are a dryish, biscuity note. Good, tasty.

Dull, sort of a pale amber-brown. Thin head. Toasty aroma, full body, fairly nutty as well. On the palate, just a touch of bitterness to get these malt notes across.

On tap at Moody Ales. Dark brown. No head. Basic chocolate and cocoa character. Would benefit from more hops and more unfermentables...oatmeal should play that role. A more interesting yeast would be nice. So it’s ok, but doesn’t come near what I would consider to be the style’s benchmarks. That said, pumped to see another brewery in Gibsons soon.
