Amber colour, cloudy, with medium head. Light pine and peppermint in the aroma. Good body strength, the mouthfeel is mostly dry; strange flavour, almost sourish, not getting particular vibes from the malt; strong bitterness, with some bitter orange peel and some piney resins. At least it's not sticky; overall, it's alright.

Bottle. Of course I had to buy it given my history. This one pours pale, and a bit hazy, with no head. On the nose, mostly bretty/buggy stuff, a lot of oak. On the palate, a little bit of acidity, some sweeter malts, floral honeyed notes, and again that buggy/woody accent. I like the beer, but, what the fuck? I'm just not sure why they'd call this a Lithuanian farmhouse ale. I'm the one who discovered Jovaru Alus, and this isn't anything like it, or anything else Lithuanian for that matter. Solid beer, just a bit too far on the old cultural appropriation for my tastes. If you're putting your own cultures into it, it's yours, just own it.

Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Pine and grapefruit. Pitter and pine with some sweet citrus. Very old school and quite solid.

Nice murky orange body, good foam. The aroma is this great mix of pine, orange zest, grappa grape must. Flavour is citrusy cereal, more grape must, white wine notes. Mouthfeel is vinegary, perhaps that's to be expected but it detracts from the experience. Still, there are some nice things going on here and Slackwater is moving in the right direction.

Nice cloudy orangey pink body and little foam, soft hibiscus on pilsner hops in the aroma which strangely doesn't work too bad. Flavour is standard pilsner hops with a hit of fruity hibiscus, lingering hops. Full mouthfeel and okay crispness. Worlks pretty good in fact.

Okay yellow body and little foam, nice doughy saison cereal on the nose. Flavour is more nice cerealy notes, bubblegum, but isn't very sharp and comes off as a little watery. Simplistic, easy drinking for those who want it.

Good deep copper body and modest foam, very nice pine on the nose but also sweet like Mountain Dew. Flavour is much the same, and the oiliness one would expect from a pale ale like this is missing. Some nice elements but really lacks the bite of a good pale ale.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear copper gold with full white head. Mild bready malt with very light pine hops. Fairly simplistic, but very drinkable.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy light yellow with very minimal white head. Mild peach and lacto with a slightly creamy texture. Easy drinking.
