Dark brown, thin head. Smells like some chocolate and a lot of nutmeg. On the palate, it's got good body, definitely the nutmeg and maybe cardamom. Spices mixing in well enough, though I'd love a punchier dark sugar / molasses character in this. Relatively sweet, which makes sense, but it would carry the spices better with a touch more bitterness. Not bad, but definitely on the light side for this type of beer and it shows in not fully coming together.

Dark brown. Thin head that dies pretty quickly. It's mostly chocolatey on the nose. On the palate, medium body, light chocolate, mellow roast. Finishes a bit on the thin side, and the bitterness seems lower than 35. It's decent, balanced.

Murky deep purpley orange body and modest foam. Kind of a sweet citrus on the nose, possibly identifiable as plum. Taste is sweet sort of jammy plum, vague tartness, smooth finish. Pretty characterless and the plum accents are sorely lacking.

Hazy deep purple body and modest foam. Sweet pastry fruit on the nose. Taste is an overbearing sweet fruit, chunky citrus, lingering nutrasweet aftertaste. A little too fake and no grain character to back it up.
