On tap @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Ambrata scarica, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca media, non molto persistente. Al naso note di frutta tropicale, agrumi e resina. In bocca è maltata all'attacco con finale amaro medio. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Me l'aspettavo più fiacca, invece ha un buono spunto, pur non essendo freschissima.

Bottle from CraftShack. Pours copper tinged gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of tropicals with a hint of garlic. Med body. Flavor is lightly roasty malt in a light way with tropical fruit. No garlic. It’s very fresh and somewhat juicy. Bitter. Good stuff.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/22/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. A bit muddy aromas. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Great Citra/Simcoe showcase. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild lingering sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Clear medium copper with a small short lived white head leaving tight lace. Nose is light caramel and lots of pine with some vanilla and light grass. Flavour follows with light caramel sweetness and a big resinous bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and a long bitter finish. 8/3+/7+/15
