Description
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

Top Notch!

Bottle from Beer Republic webshop Berkel-Enschot Netherlands, consumed at home Thursday 10th April 2025 after working out in the garden (lots of strimming work) we had Fish Fingers Chips and Mushy Peas for tea and we're watching Foundation on AppleTV. Pours black with a small tan head. The whisky is very apparent on the nose but combined with some chocolate notes a little caramel and booze soaked dried fruit. Chocolate in the mouth, a little bit boozy and warming but regardless very drinkable, there is also some caramel and dark fruits, it's v.nice.

Aromas are roast, dark malt, coffee, cocoa, and a little molasses. Flavors are similar to nose, excellent balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good fresh coffee flavors come out a little more. Good body with a little alcohol at the end. Nice drinking beer.
