Double Jam pours dark, like the cup of coffee you had with your toast this morning, but the notes of excessive blackberries and raspberries elevate the flavor similarly to the way a little bit of sugar does. This fruity Baptist is for berry lovers, coffee lovers, and beer lovers alike!

Bomber, 2021 vintage. Jammy raspberry aroma with notes of blackberries, coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, whiskey and oak. Pours black with a thin mocha brown head that has good retention and decent lacing. Starts with chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and coffee flavors as well as having a rich, full body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes robust, but still quite smooth with blackberry, raspberry, whiskey and oak flavors. Still quite jammy after 4+ years.

Coffee flavor with molasses or syrup notes. Mainly berry flavor on the palate. It's like having chocolate flavored berries. Very good stout.

Bomber 2021 release #3: Strong pronounced molasses nose, blueberry on the edges. Black, medium beige head. Molasses, raisin, charred oak, coffee. Full body, easy carbonation, warm. I'm not a fan of fruited stouts at all, but this was fantastic. The berry notes were subtle and supportive of the rich base beer. I was expecting to not like this, but it's great. I think a little age did this beer a good turn.

I broke the cap, so we had to drink it now.: Deep Black, opaque color and a tan head. Roasty-malty nose, Lots of raspberry in the nose as it gets warmer. Cask influencee, smokey and peaty flavors, dark coffe and a nuie fruityness of black- and raspberries --- Beer merged from original tick of Big Bad Baptist: Double Jam on 09 Mar 2024 at 22:20 - Score: 8. Bottle picked up from Beer Republic webshop Breda Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 19th January 2024 listening to Compost Records Drum and Bass Selection Vol 1, in the company of Nick and Anna. Pours shark eye black with a fast disappearing tan coloured head, raspberry showing a little on the nose and then in the mouth, sweet and fruity but all told whilst fine a little bit forgettable.
