Dark brown with modest foam, nostril burning whiskey and chocolate syrup on the nose. Flavour is sweet molasses, chocolate syrup, soft whiskey notes. Full mouthfeel, good level of sweetness. Just okay for this kind of thing.

Murky yellow body with okay foam, soft cabbage on the nose. Flavour is cloying candy, lemon notes, slight chalk. Kind of lacking but drinkable.

Okay orangey brown body and good foam, nice sweet candy hops on the nose with biscuit hints. Flavour is nice candy hops, mandarin orange hints, smooth with nice oiliness. Really nice.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet and syrupy, almost with diacetyl in there, with lots of caramel malt sweetness and little hops. Flavour is very malty and lacking hoppy depth or complexity. Simple, malty and nearly cloying. Very poorly made. This must be more Brewhall than Superflux, as this is not a very competent beer at all.

Draught at the brewpub
It's near black. Aroma of whiskey, chocolate, light coffee, very light cardboard. Good body, there is some sweetness, strong roast, strong dark chocolate, very light liquorice, and a big boozy punch, whiskey flavour. Nothing spectacular, but it's solid, more than I had expected from Brewhall. The 23$ for the bottle is a joke, though.

Dark brown. Medium head. Medium body for style. Has a decent chocolate character, and lots of bourbon. Soft body, with a touch of late booziness.

5oz glass with Matt. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: lots of whiskey, some chocolate, fruity notes. Taste: lots of whiskey, like really a lot. Very sweet, but lacks body a bit at the same time for this level of sweetness. Roasty and boozy finish. Overall: it's good for what it is 9% whiskey BA Imperial Stout. I am also glad I tried this on tap for $3.5 instead of paying $20 in retail 😊

On tap at Brewhall, pours a dirty dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out boozy Irish whiskey, moderate roast, and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is rich and roasty, with lots of roasted malt, gentle booze, and a little vanilla. Roasty and barrel-heavy. This is surprisingly good. Not the most complex BA impie, but it works.

Poured from 473mL can. Light reddish purple. Boysenberry and vomit. I'm really trying to find something good about this, but this should never have been released.
