Smells of mellow ginger with some soya sauce. Has a cloudy orange body with little head. Flavour is sour lemon juice with soya sauce hints. Full mouthfeel, good crispness. Adequate but kind of awkward.

Hazy blonde. No head. Lots of kettle sour, with a little bit of lemon. Tart. Bit lemony. Bit yeasty bit not so bad. Basic example.

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Hazy golden colour, dull. Mild hop aroma, some citrus peel and pine resin. Lean mouthfeel, light malt base, which at this gravity may be a good rhing, bitter orange peel, and vegetable bitterness in the finish.
Modern IPA, but some problem with the chicory bitterness, and in general not very bright hop.

Rain and citrus. Clearing gold with a decent white head. Resin and pithy with a dry bitter finish. Old school and pleasant.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a clear copper golden with a small off-white head. Nose brings out herbal hops, some boiled vegetables, and biscuity malt. Flavour is rather flat, with earthy hops, some herbal notes, and biscuity malt. Not a very invigorating hop character - kind of flat and lacking depth. Okay.

@ Darby's. Slight haze, light tan. Thin head. Yeasty nose, not all that appetizing. Earthy but dirty, has a harsh huskiness, harsh coriander. Dunno...dirty and unrefined with nothing to entice the drinker.

On tap at Callister, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out perfumey, floral hops, some alcohol and biscuity malt. Flavour brings out lots of fusel alcohol, some floral hops, light oiliness and biscuity malt. Too rough and alcoholic. Not too good.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Dull hazy golden color. Aroma of resiny hops and light lemon. Good body, just moderately sweet, the malt base is delicate, a bit biscuity; the hopping is resiny, a hint of spruce, and some vegetable bitterness in the finish. Not a very modern recipe, doesn’t taste fresh either, but it’s a decent effort and it’s quite clean.
One of the better offers from Lightheart.

Golden color, just hazy. Mild spicy aroma, dry mouthfeel, not weak, good malt base, and moderate coriander character. At least it doesn’t have the common American Saison flaws.
Not bad.

Draft - Grainy, earthy and a touch herbal. Clear gold with a decent white head. Earthy hops ad not much else.
